What is Kinesiology
Is this for me?
When it comes to our health, most of us want to be up to date and in the know about what’s good for us. Did you know your body may already know exactly what it needs for optimal wellbeing? All you may need to do is ask.
What is Kinesiology?
Founded on Eastern medicine and Western understanding of anatomy and physiology, kinesiologist works with the principle that your body knows exactly what it needs to be healthy.
Kinesiology enables you to bypass your conscious mind to isolate causal factors in you subconscious. In other words, it lets your body do the talking, through muscle testing. The idea is that each muscle group is related to a body part: digestive system, nerves, organs etc. How the muscles respond to different tests reveal the body’s functioning and helps locate imbalances.
Can I claim for a rebate from my health fund service?
Select medical insurers do approve Kinesiology. If you are unsure please check with your own Health Fund before booking a session.
Which conditions can’t kinesiology help?
Kinesiology does not treat or diagnose any medical conditions or named diseases, nor do kinesiologists prescribe. This is the domain of your medical doctor.
Its focus rather is on supporting the body energetically–so most people can benefit from kinesiology and other forms of natural therapy in some or many areas of their life.
What methods are used in kinesiology?
